I’m a 23-year-old medical student who is currently in his penultimate year at College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. I’m very interested in biomedical technology and how it can be used in improving the quality of human health. In January 2020, I was selected for and participated in a programme organised by Harvard University on intersection between medicine and technology and its available opportunities in developing countries. In 2019, I was honoured by University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association as one of its most outstanding members because of my laurels in various fields such as leadership, community service, writing, and sports.
I’m the co-founder of Youth Renewal Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that has impacted over 2,000 Nigerian youths by helping them harness their talents, attain academic excellence, and become active citizens who are making positive changes. As a volunteer for Junior Chamber International, I’ve headed two directorates and helped in organising many community projects over the last 5 years.
Consider this website an archive of things that I’m comfortable sharing with the public. So, you’ll find here all sorts of things, including serious articles I wrote on topical issues, some fictional stories I’ve published, romantic poems written before or after breakups, philosophical lessons from my somewhat adventurous experiences, an insight into my community services, and a peek at some thoughts playing around in my head.
